From embedded FEC products to waveform and high speed modems to specialty processing to entire radio networking solutions, TrellisWare products represent the highest performance available in the industry. At the heart of all of TrellisWare's products sits an innovative processing engine driven by a set of patented likelihood processing techniques that enable performance well beyond traditional receive processing engines. Even the best conventional receive solutions will deal with each source of receiver degradation separately. TrellisWare utilizes techniques such as Adaptive Iterative Detection (AID) and Per Survivor Processing (PSP) engines that iterate between Soft-in, Soft-Out (SISO) receive processing blocks to provide performance boosts in harsh environments where traditional communications typically fail. TrellisWare has further extended these techniques to create iterative physical layer-networked (PHY-MAC) cross-layer solutions that enable fast network routing in dynamic mobile mesh environments.

TrellisWare's solutions outperform traditional radios because we deal with degradations iteratively, creating what is known as a Joint Maximum Likelihood Receiver. To learn more about TrellisWare's advanced processing techniques, visit our Technologies Page.

Most radio solutions perform well in open, benign environments. In high multipath environments, in high dynamics (mobile units), and/or where co-channel interference exists (intentional or non-intentional), most radios performance drop off rapidly.
