TW-110 Evaluation Platform
The TW-110 is a flexible evaluation platform supporting a wide range of deployment scenarios from vehicle to backpack mounting. The unit includes USB 2.0, Ethernet Serial, and 6-pin audio connector interfaces allowing connection of a variety of data sources to evaluate voice, video, data, and GPS location tracking. Hosting the DNA found in all of TrellisWare’s TW-Series SDR products, the TW-Series evaluation kit includes two TW-110 units with associated analysis tools for evaluating both physical layer and network performance measures.
The evaluation kit includes application software, hostable on any Windows XP computer, which provides a real-time engineering-based user interface for PHY and network monitoring. These features are designed to allow a technically capable operator the ability to monitor the operation of the system during its operation. The kit also includes an API document to allow developers to experiment with new applications geared specifically to mobile mesh environments. By adding additional TW-110 units, the two-node evaluation kit can be extended for testing of mobile mesh networking applications.
As with all TW-Series solutions, these units can be customized by TrellisWare to operate in several frequency band options from 800 MHz up to 3 GHz as well as including many of the software-definable features offered on all our SDR solutions.
