New Grad Opportunities
Kick-start your career at TrellisWare! We offer a variety of exciting positions, many in engineering-related fields. Learn more about these engineering opportunities by clicking the boxes below.
Hardware
Our hardware engineers are experts in RF, analog, and digital design. They design and build circuit cards for production-ready, small form factor radios and for prototyping platforms for research and development. They spend time designing the cards, bringing them up in the lab, and working with the team to integrate them into the larger system.
Digital Design
Digital designers write VHDL for FPGAs and ASICs. They implement modem physical layers and are knowledgeable in communication theory and radio architecture. A typical day could involve designing and documenting a new filter or modulator, testing a new waveform in the screen room, and working with the software team to integrate with networking layers.
Software
Our software engineers are experts in real-time embedded systems, embedded Linux, and web-based applications development. They design novel networking protocols, help distribute audio, video, and data across complete networks and build web-based application servers to control our radios. They collaborate on source code, test new algorithms in the lab, and verify the latest release in the field.
Product Systems
The product systems engineers are TrellisWare’s jack-of-all-trades. They work in the lab spear-heading integration efforts, or act as support for partners that need help implementing a custom network with one of our radios. They can be found in the lab collecting data or in the field working with our customers.
Communication Systems
Our communication systems engineers are experts in communication, signal processing, and detection theory. They are equally comfortable in matlab and C and spend most of their time designing and verifying our next generation waveforms.
Systems Test
Our test engineers are collaborative and innovative! The product test engineers learn and develop the whole system. They work with all the design teams to ensure algorithms, hardware systems, software systems, and full products meet specifications and customer expectations. They create, design, and implement test cases and test systems in controlled lab environments and in uncontrolled field test environments such as tunnels, ships, urban, rural, and mountains.
