• Designed to operate in highly contested radio frequency (RF) communication environments, the Katana NB waveform combines resilient narrowband fast frequency hopping capability with tactical MANET.
• Simultaneously provides multiple voice channels, PLI distribution, and low-throughput data/chat across a multi-hop network.
• Facilitates communications in near-peer threat environments and provides broad spectrum allocation options for global deployment.
• Used together with the TSM waveform, the optional Katana waveform can provide for Primary, Alternate, Contingency, and Emergency (PACE) capability for operation in both congested and contested environments.
• Interoperable with the WREN NB waveform at the SBU security level.
