The TSM® waveform (current version TSM 6.2.2) provides for enhanced network throughput, unicast and multicast HD video, flexible bandwidth, adaptability, and waveform portability. In highly mobile operations, TSM networking supports critical situations with true tactical agility.
TSM is a commercial, wireless, wideband MANET waveform software that operates on TrellisWare® radio products. The TrellisWare TSM Partner Platform Waveform Software operates on third-party radio products.
TSM Waveform
The TSM-X™ waveform is a version of the TSM® waveform that includes specifically designed software functions to support and interface to NSA-certified (Type-1) security architectures. TSM-X networking features enhanced network throughput, unicast and multicast HD video, flexible bandwidth, adaptability, and waveform portability.
The TSM-X waveform was chosen as the primary tactical MANET technology for the U.S. Special Operations (US-SOCOM) next-generation handheld and next-generation manpack radios. The waveform delivers robust, reliable, and scalable networking, specifically for tactical operations in challenging RF environments.
TSM-X with STC Security is the standard waveform for US-SOCOM MANET-capable radios. TSM-X with WREN Security offers interoperability between Army Program of Record (PoR) partner radios.

TrellisWare led the development of the Warrior Robust Enhanced Network Narrowband (WREN NB) waveform for the US Army. The WREN NB capability enables spectrum efficiency for tactical communications, and addresses challenges faced by current communications solutions.
The WREN NB waveform is a US Army Program of Record (PoR) waveform on multiple vendor platforms, and answers the battlefield needs of today and tomorrow. WREN NB has wide frequency coverage as well as massive scalability. It provides mitigation against intentional and unintentional electronic warfare threats. The waveform includes secure IP network capabilities, extended network range, and interoperability between different radio platforms. WREN NB provides a highly scalable and robust waveform with simplified network management for operations in congested or contested environments.

Katana™: TrellisWare’s Next-Generation Waveform
